How did you get started playing golf? My dad took me to the golf course and got me started putting. He just wanted to see if I liked golf. Now I love it. Who taught you how to play golf? My dad at first, then a club pro, but most recently a professional swing coach. Who has been the most influential person in your life? My dad, he has always said that nothing comes easy and you have to work hard to get what you want. I use that in my golf game as I strive to get better every day If you could play any golf course in the world, what would it be and why? I would play Augusta National because it looks like such a nice course that would be extremely fun (and difficult) to play. What are your favorite clubs in your bag? My favorite clubs are my putter and my 8 iron. When you are not playing golf, what are you doing? I am playing basketball and hanging out with friends. As a junior golfer, who do you look up to for inspiration? Logan Jones, he is a golfer on The Ohio State University golf team, who belongs to my country club and works extremely hard to be the best he can. Do you have any superstitions on the golf course? No I do not. What has been your favorite memory so far on the golf course? I would probably be my first eagle a few years ago. I had about 180 into the green and when I saw it go in it was such a great feeling, like getting a hole in one. What do you hope to accomplish as a golfer? I hope to play golf at a Division I college and hopefully make it to the PGA.
